Uppuveli ? A Seductive Beach Side Locale

The Velgama Vihara which is a Buddhist temple dates back to the times of King Devanampiya Tissa. Visitors can explore the ruins and a preserved Buddhist statue that resides in the temple. National parks can also be easily accessed when staying in Uppuveli, where a rich diversity of wildlife, fauna and flora can be appreciated.
